General Provisions

  • Hello! You should thoroughly read the Terms of Service because they come into effect every time you visit DeafLove or use any of its features. If you ever want to briefly tell your friends what you've read here, here are the key points:
  • If you are under 18 years of age, unfortunately, you cannot use DeafLove.
  • We are not responsible for the content you post on DeafLove, and we do not monitor the site's content. We may, at our discretion, remove inappropriate materials from the site.
  • If you share content that does not belong to you and this upsets the owners (and they call their lawyers), we are not involved. So, you are fully responsible for the materials you publish.
  • If you are concerned about how DeafLove uses your personal information, please review our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process your personal data and protect your privacy when using DeafLove. By using DeafLove, you agree that we may use your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use cookies and similar technologies on our website and in our apps, which you can read about here. You can block cookies and local storage devices through your browser or phone settings, but doing so may result in you losing access to some DeafLove features.
  • 1. Use of the Application and Website, as well as Content Rules

    Who Can Use DeafLove?

    DeafLove is a dating site for deaf people from various countries who want to find love and friends. You can use DeafLove and register on the site only if you are 18 years of age or older (or older if the age of majority in your country is higher).

    You confirm that you have the right and capability to commit to these Terms and, by using DeafLove, you will not violate the laws and norms of your country. You are solely responsible for complying with all local laws and norms.

    You also confirm that you have never been convicted of a public offense, causing physical harm, or sexual harassment by a court.

    What Kind of Materials Can I Post on DeafLove?

    You can post any materials, including photos, emails, and other content (hereinafter referred to as "Content") on DeafLove.

    However, there are some rules regarding what constitutes acceptable materials. So, when using DeafLove, you must not post, send, or upload Content that:

  • 1. contains profanity or insults that could offend another person;
  • 2. is indecent, pornographic, or otherwise offensive to the feelings of another person;
  • 3. is offensive, abusive, or threatening, demonstrating or inciting violence, mutilation, suicide, racism, sexism, hatred, and intolerance;
  • 4. incites illegal activities, including terrorism, racial hatred, or the publication of such materials, which is a criminal offense;
  • 5. is defamatory;
  • 6. is related to commercial activities (including, without limitation, sales, advertising, links to other websites, or premium phone numbers);
  • 7. contains spam;
  • 8. depicts a person, company, or brand for the purpose of deception or confusion;
  • 9. contains spyware, adware, viruses, corrupted files, worms, or other malicious code designed to disrupt, damage, restrict, or interrupt the operation of any software, hardware, telecommunications, networks, servers; trojans created to damage, interfere with, unlawfully intercept, or extract any information (including personal information), whether through DeafLove or otherwise;
  • 10. in and of itself or the fact of its placement violates the rights of a third party (including, without limitation, intellectual property rights and confidentiality);
  • 11. displays another person if the Content was created/distributed without that person's knowledge and without giving that person the opportunity to decline its creation or distribution; or
  • 12. contains images of children, even if you are present in the photo, or jeopardizes their safety.
  • Please, do not forget to use common sense when posting, uploading, or sending any Content of your choice to DeafLove, as you are solely responsible for it.

    We check accounts for content that violates these terms using several automated systems and regular checks by a team of moderators. In the case of repeated rule violations, we may suspend your use of DeafLove, restrict your access, deactivate, or block your account. We may also remove materials posted by you if we deem them to be in violation of the rules or illegal.

    Are there any rules regarding my personal information, such as email addresses?

    You cannot post your own or someone else's contact information, such as names, home and mailing addresses, email addresses, URLs, or places of work. If you decide to disclose your personal information to other users through email or other means, you do so at your own risk.

    What about the personal information of other users, can I use it?

    You can use the personal information of other DeafLove users to the extent necessary to get to know them. It is not allowed to use such information for commercial purposes, spam, threats, or harassment. DeafLove reserves the right to delete your account or restrict access to certain data in case of misuse of someone else's information.

    Who can see the Content I post on DeafLove?

    When you upload Content to DeafLove, it can be seen by everyone. If you do not want other users to see your Content, do not post it on DeafLove or use private folders and restricted access settings. We reserve the right to delete, edit, restrict, or block access to your Content on DeafLove at our discretion without any obligation to you. We are not obligated to publish your Content, check it for accuracy and truthfulness, or monitor how you use DeafLove.

    Anything else?..

    By using DeafLove, you agree to the Terms. We, in turn, provide you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use and upload Content, as well as use DeafLove solely for personal purposes. In addition to this right, you have no other rights to use the site, the application, its Content, and features, nor do you have the right to modify, edit, copy, reproduce, create derivative works, adapt, modify, modernize, or use the site or its Content in any other way. In the event of a violation of the Terms, your right to use will be automatically revoked, and uploaded or printed Content will be subject to immediate destruction.

    2. Ownership of Content

    Do I lose my rights by uploading Content to DeafLove?

    No (provided that you are the rightful owner - please review our rules regarding uploading someone else's Content).

  • Please be aware that by uploading Content to DeafLove, you confirm that:
  • You are the exclusive author and owner of this Content and agree to waive moral rights as the author of this Content (including, but not limited to, the right to be further recognized as the author);
  • You have been granted the right to use and publish the Content; or
  • You have obtained approval and authority to use and publish this Content.
  • By uploading Content to DeafLove, you confirm that you have the right to do so. You automatically grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, global license to use this Content in any way (including, but not limited to, editing, copying, modifying, translating, reformatting, using in other materials, creating derivative works, advertising, distributing, and publishing the Content for a wide range of users, in whole or in part, in any format and on any medium that currently exists or may be developed in the future).

    We have the right to disclose your personal information to a third party if they complain to us that the Content you uploaded to our site violates their copyright, privacy, or any other law.

    So who owns all the other Content on DeafLove?

    We do! All text, graphics, user interfaces, trademarks, logos, sounds, and artistic creations on DeafLove are our property, controlled or licensed by us, and therefore protected by property, trademark, and other intellectual property rights.

    Can I use Content that doesn't belong to me?

    You cannot use DeafLove Content for which you do not have rights, except for the Content you have uploaded. You agree not to in any way infringe upon our rights or the rights of third parties by using DeafLove Content. This means you will not copy, modify, distribute, publish, or sell DeafLove Content (except your own).

    3. Site Access

    Can you guarantee that DeafLove will always be intact and unharmed?

    I'm not registered, and some Content and features of DeafLove are not accessible to me. How is this possible? Unregistered users can only see the publicly available part of the Content. They do not have a Profile, and their ability to upload Content is limited. The extent of registered users' access to DeafLove depends on specific criteria in the Profile they have completed. We may occasionally change or add to the criteria at our discretion and without prior notice.

    4. Abuses and Complaints

    Someone is violating the Terms, who can I report this to?

    To report a violation or complain about Content on DeafLove, contact us through the Tegelram messenger using the username @deaflove_support and briefly outline the nature of the violation.

    We always strive to help resolve any issues you may encounter with our service.

    Privacy Policy

    Do you have any rules regarding how you can handle my personal data?

    We process information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is included in these Terms of Service. Please review our Privacy Policy before using DeafLove. By using DeafLove, you agree to such data processing and you guarantee that all data provided by you is true, complete, and accurate.
